    5:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The staff and leadership of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church invites you to participate in a two-day journey of prayerful worship, dialogue, and discovery of where God is leading us as a community of faith. At the heart of our conversation will be answering the question, “How do we actively engage every person God gathers at O.R. to help discern where He is leading us as a Church?” We want to make sure that Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is alive and actively sharing the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ. For this to happen, we have to have big conversations together, often.

Please save the date for September 8 (5pm-9pm) and September 9 (9am-4pm) for an all-congregation and invited community guest summit experience. We will celebrate and consecrate the work of the summit at all worship services on September 10.

A “summit” is organized as a way for a whole organization (e.g., all members, staff, and interested community members) to think about important questions. It actively engages people to discover, dream, design, and determine big ideas to help move an organization forward. A summit places the path forward in the hands of those who love being a part of that organization and want to have a voice in shaping its future. Each stage of the summit is built on conversations where everyone has a chance to be listened to and listen to others. Decisions are molded by the hours participants spend together and the path forward generates excitement.
